Adding a straight-edge metal vibe to the already vibrant Dickson Street scene on Wednesday nights, Baby Bear is known in Fayetteville, Arkansas and surrounding areas for his dare to flare performing original songs as well as hit covers. Baby Bear is a vocalist and songwriter with a 20-year history in music and continues to make a name for himself at live music venues throughout Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas among other places. Hailed to be “reinventing screaming” by some on IG, Baby Bear is a favorite amongst local fans and hopes to tour with a live band as he progresses throughout his musical career. Besides “why not root for the bad guy?”

Baby Bear's upcoming projects include putting together a live, touring band as well as to continue progressing in his musical career.

Starting out on bass guitar growing up in the church, he picked up saxophone in 7th grade establishing a love and building a foundation for music at an early age. After finding a Limp Bizkit CD while still in middle school, his mind was opened to an exponential world of musical possibilities. Having been inspired by a friend to learn how to scream when 15 years old, it was no surprise that Baby Bear joined a metal band, With My Bear Hands, as the bass player when he was 18.

Baby Bear’s biggest musical influence is the dynamic style of Randy Blythe, making note of Randy's ability to hit lows and highs using his vocal range to do whatever the fuck he wants.

Being no stranger to the various aspects of the music world, Baby Bear also has experience as a stage hand and has worked various venues supporting artists, bands, and shows such as:

Slipknot; Shinedown; Eric Church; Garth Brooks; Kevin Hart; and the WWE.

Featured on 100.3 The Edge out of Little Rock, Arkansas, Baby Bear has also played shows in Dardanelle, Arkansas; Lawrence, Kansas, as well as in Topeka, Kansas. He has been spending time in the studio in Nashville, Tennessee as well as Bartlesville, Oklahoma. With a reach as far as Fairfield, California, Baby Bear is not afraid to hit the road to do what he loves most.
